Are we really close to the latest treatment for diabetes permanently? What is the relationship between diabetes treatment and bypass surgery for diabetics?
\nIn this article, we will show you - dear reader - about the relationship of diabetes to the gastric bypass and how this surgery contributes to its recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a recently published new study, nearly three-quarters of individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus
\nThose who were treated with bypass or SASI surgery were cured of their diabetes within one year of treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surgery is not necessarily a cure for type 2 diabetes, some people who have this operation have no symptoms of diabetes

SASI (loop bipartition) surgery<\/a><\/span> It is a combination of the two previous operations in which part of the stomach is removed and part of the small intestine is bypassed.<\/span><\/p>\n

During research and studies, patients who underwent surgery were compared to about 1,100 type 2 diabetes patients who did not undergo surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bariatric surgery is considered the latest treatment for diabetes permanently. About 65% of patients who underwent bariatric surgery had symptoms of diabetes disappeared within 6 months.
\nOne year after surgery, nearly 74 percent found symptoms had disappeared. The study found that during the first five years after surgery, the cure rate for diabetes remained at 70 percent and above.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, people in the study who had been on insulin treatment before surgery were less likely to recover completely from it.
\nPeople who were unable to control their blood sugar levels were also less likely to do so.
\nAlso, people over the age of 60 have more difficulty compared to people under the age of 40.<\/span><\/p>\n

In short, the findings of this study add that multiple bariatric surgeries,
\nspecifically Laparoscopic gastric bypass for diabetics<\/a><\/span> type 2 can help cure it,
